| I haven't posted in quite a while, so I thought I'd add a little something today.
Anna is in Rwanda, so check out her site at xanga.com/annaphora. We here are all just working. I've had a good year with real estate, and I can finally walk with some normalcy, though swelling is still a problem, and I do have a hitch in my get-along. I am wearing a support knee-hi for the swelling, and it helps a lot, but after a busy day I have to put my feet up for most of the evening. But I can see a lot of progress, and I am so thankful that I am doing as well as I am, praise God!
A joke, that is funny for our Lose it for Life class that I am helping to lead:
A woman saw an old man sitting on his porch in his rocking chair and she stopped to chat with him. Woman: "What is your secret to living so long?" Man: "I smoke 3 packs of cigarettes a day, drink a case of whiskey each week, and eat whatever I want." Woman: "Wow! How old are you?" Man: "Twenty-six!"
I love you all!

| We, the Queales, went to Chicago last Wednesday and got back about an hour ago. It was a good trip, and Chicago is a neat place, but the traffic is pretty bad. Makes me glad I live in Little Rock.
We saw "Wicked" at the Oriental Theater in Chicago. It was great. I didn't think I wanted to see it, but I was glad I went. It really was well done. We also visited the Botanic Gardens, saw the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and went to Harry Potter. We visited the Natural History Museum and drove around a lot. We wanted to do more, but there just wasn't time. This is our first family vacation in a while, and it was good to have Anna home to go with us and make it almost complete. Noah was working and couldn't make it. We missed him.
Going to bed now. We're all tired. Love to you all........

| We have 2 new kitties. One is a kitten about 3 1/2 months old, and her name is Cricket. She's a real toot, but she is also very loving. She is fearless - doesn't mind the dogs at all, in fact thinks she is half dog. The other kitty is Molly, and she is about a year and a half, quiet, and not too fond of the dogs at all. She does like Cricket, and they play and are so adorable together. It has been good for us to have a house full of pets again. Even Grandad seems perkier since we got the cats! I say, "Xanga is Superior to Facebook!" I don't care for the format of facebook, and I wish everyone who has abandoned xanga for Facebook would come back! Love to you all.... | | |
| We lost a wonderful companion and faithful pet today. Boots had to be put to sleep because she was in kidney failure and had not been able to eat for some days. We are all very sad and somber right now. She was the sweetest kitty in the world, as far as we are concerned, and we are missing her terribly. We've lost 2 cats in the last 6 months now, and I think I am grieving for both of them.
We will have new kitties, but, in the meantime, hoist a cup for a great feline: To Boots, we love you forever!

| Anna is home! And she is her usual exuberant self, wanting to do a thousand things at once! I think she already has half of her schedule filled up with activities, so, if you want to see her, better make your appointment now! I hope she saves a little time for her mother. Love to you all. | | |
